Cool Program

The Cool Program as part of our Mental Health Hub, is designed to inspire and empower participants by building their confidence to form new friendships and engage in community recreational and social activities.

The program's ultimate goal is to help participants gain the self-assurance needed to explore their community independently.

Each week, participants on the Cool Program embark on a new adventure, whether it's exploring a beautiful
park or nature reserve, visiting a museum or art gallery, enjoying a social BBQ or lunch at a restaurant, or participating in community activities such as lawn bowls or mini golf. Participants have a say in shaping the program by suggesting and voting on activities during the monthly participant meeting at MiPlace.

The Cool Program runs, weekly on a Tuesday afternoon (1:00pm – 4:00pm) and fortnightly on a Saturday (9:00am – 4:00pm).

For those who are supported by a NDIS go across to our NDIS page to understand how Cool Program can support you.
